1. Electric Energy Storage: During the off - peak power period of the power grid or when there is an excess of renewable energy generation, the battery management system (BMS) in the system controls the battery pack to absorb electric energy. For example, when the solar power station has strong sunlight, the excess electric energy flows into the container - type energy storage system and is converted into chemical energy and stored in the battery.
2. Electric Energy Conversion: The direct current (DC) stored in the battery needs to be inverted into alternating current (AC) through the power conversion system (PCS) to match the requirements of electrical equipment or the power grid, ensuring the stable quality of the output electric energy.
3. Electric Energy Release: During peak power consumption periods or when renewable energy generation is insufficient, the BMS controls the battery pack to discharge. The AC power converted by the PCS is supplied to the power grid or the load. For instance, it provides additional power during the peak power consumption period of a factory.
4. System Monitoring and Management: The energy management system (EMS) monitors the system status in real - time, collects data such as battery voltage, current, and temperature, and optimizes the charging and discharging strategies to ensure safe and efficient operation.
